Kung Fu is the term used to describe Chinese Martial Arts. Kung Fu has been in existence for over 4,000 years. Its tradition of focused mental and physical discipline and training has been passed down through generations and continues to grow worldwide.
Kung Fu uses the human body's natural abilities in combination with a vast battery of hand and foot techniques to form a unique and complete system of self-defense and physical and mental fitness.
Kung Fu also carries on the tradition of the Lion Dance, a ceremony held to ensure good luck and prosperity to the person(s) who ask for one. The Lion Dance consists of highly rigorous forms using various kung fu stances, jumps, rolls and kicks for the two martial artists playing the lion, and other weapons and free-hand forms for other members of the Lion Dance team.
Training in Kung Fu consists of Kung Fu basic exercises, hand and weapon forms, self-defense techniques, history, philosophy & meditation.
